Removing Clutch
Prepare for repair, @ 3.1.

Release chain brake.
N
Remove chain sprocket cover.
N
Remove circlip (1).
N
Remove washer (2).
N
Remove rim sprocket (3).
N
Remove clutch drum (4).
N
Remove needle cage (5).
N
Remove shroud.
N
Remove the spark plug.
N

(50 Nm / 37 lbf. ft.)
Slide locking strip 0000 893 5904 through the spark
N
plug hole and hold.
Turn clutch (6) as far as possible clockwise by hand.
N
The piston is blocked.
Unscrew clutch (6) clockwise.
N
Pull locking strip 0000 893 5904 out of the spark plug
N
hole.
Remove the washer (7).
N

Remove the clutch drum, @ 11.2.
N
Examine the clutch drum (4) for signs of wear.
N
If distinct wear marks are visible on the inner diameter of
the clutch drum (4):
Measure wall thickness a.
