RECOIL STARTER REMOVAL/
STARTING SYSTEM
INSTALLATION
Remove the top cover (page 5-2).
RECOIL STARTER INSPECTION
Remove the recoil starter (page 7-2).
Check the operation of the ratchets [1] by pulling the
starter rope out several times.
Check the tabs [1] on the cooling fan.
