Standard vs Extended Position– Right Side
There are nailing brackets attached to the body of the fireplace on the right side. If the optional centering
brackets are not used position the nailing flanges as shown below, left.
There are also nailing flanges on the optional centering brackets. If the centering brackets are used, position
the centering brackets as shown below right to accommodate the style of facing that you will be using (If using
the centering brackets on the right side of the fireplace, they can be moved backward to accommodate the
extended finish material style of install (see "Standard vs. Extended Position" on page 36 for details). The
centering brackets have attached nailing brackets that act as support for the finish material. When using the
centering brackets the nailing brackets MUST BE IN THE POSITION SHOWN BOTTOM RIGHT. See the
section "Facing Requirements" for details on which position is best for your installation. To reposition the
centering brackets, loosen the (10) 1/4" screws (5 on each panel) and slide the panels to the desired position
( & ). Tighten down the screws to secure the panels. Secure the fireplace to the framing with the nailing
brackets ( ).
