Nailing Brackets
The fireplace has nailing brackets on both sides (the right side of the fireplace has them if the centering
brackets are not used). Secure the fireplace to the framing with the nailing brackets. The nailing brackets
should be oriented as shown below for all installs regardless of whether it is a flush installation or an extended
installation.
NOTE: Make sure the fireplace is square and plumb when placed in the framing. Measured corner-to-corner
the fireplace should be square. Use shims to ensure the fireplace is square.
NOTE: To prepare the nailing brackets, follow the steps below.
