CHAPTER 7. Connecting Stations and Additional Equipment
2.4.1 Connecting OfficeServ Manager to LAN Port
Connect the PC to the system through the LAN port. The PC is called a 'remote Office-
Serv Manager' which enables remote management of the system through the network.
This section describes how to connect a remote OfficeServ Manager (OSM) to the
system and how to configure the software.
The hardware connection via the LAN between the OfficeServ 7200, equipped with
a LIM module, and the OSM is as follows:
The procedure for connecting an OSM using a modem is as follows:
1. Set network parameters through MMC 830.
2. Set OSM parameters.
