Push the front panel lever until the module is fully inserted into the slot (Fig.
3.6).

Mount the LCP module in slot 0 of the expansion chassis following steps 1~3.

Connecting MCP Module to LCP Module
If the system consists of a basic chassis and an extension chassis, connect the MCP
module to the LCP module using extension cables to transmit and receive signals
between the control modules.
Three extension cables are needed to connect the MCP module to the LCP module
(Fig. 3.7). DO NOT use cables other than those supplied with the LCP module.
Using the three cables (and referring to Fig. 3.8):
1.
Connect the LINK1 port of the MCP module to the LINK1 port of the LCP
module.
2.
Connect the LINK2 port of the MCP module to the LINK2 port of the LCP
module.
3.
Connect the LINK3 port of the MCP module to the LINK3 port of the LCP
module.
