Connecting Stations and Additional
Equipment
This chapter describes how to connect stations and additional equipment, such as
analogue/digital phones, door phones and door locks to the OfficeServ 7200 system.

Connecting Stations

1.1

Precautions when Connecting Stations

Take care when connecting stations:
Do not connect stations in extreme weather conditions such as storms and light-
ning.
Do not connect stations in a humid location.
Connect stations to a pair of #24 AWG or #26 AWG cables.
Refer to the OfficeServ General Description Guide for a list of compatible sta-
tions. Refer to the station guides (e.g. keyset user guides) for more information re-
garding their use.
The maximum distances allowed between stations and the OfficeServ 7200 system
are shown in Table 7.1.
