Connecting C.O. Lines
This chapter describes how to connect C.O. lines to the OfficeServ 7200 system
following installation.
1 Line Conditions
Take care when connecting C.O. lines:
Only cables with AWG #24 (0.51 mm) or AWG #26 (0.4 mm) width should be
used as subscriber lines.
If wiring cables in areas of high-humidity, take precautions to remove moisture be-
fore installing wiring.
Cables should be handled carefully to prevent damage.
Subscriber lines should be kept indoors, if possible.
Subscriber lines should not be located near high-voltage power lines.
Leak resistance for C.O. lines connected to the OfficeServ 7200 system is shown in
Table 6.1.
