Making adjustments and selections

It is recommended that images are projected continuously for at least 30 minutes before the focus is adjusted.

1) Roughly adjust the focus of the image with the focus ring. (x page 51)
2) Change the settings of the [PROJECTOR SETUP] menu → [PROJECTION METHOD] depending on the
installation mode. (x page 32)
f Refer to "Navigating through the menu" (x page 59) for the operation of the menu screen.
3) Press the input selection buttons on the remote control or the <INPUT SELECT> button on the control
panel to select the input signal.
f The buttons that can be used on the remote control are as follows.
<HDMI 1> button, <HDMI 2> button, <COMPUTER 1/2> button, <NETWORK/USB> button
4) Adjust the projection angle of the projector with the adjustable feet. (x page 51)
5) If the input signal is an analog RGB signal, press the <AUTO SETUP> button.
6) Adjust the focus again with the focus ring.

f The image size may be adjusted with the [DIGITAL ZOOM EXTENDER] menu. However, note that the display resolution may decrease when the
Digital Zoom Extender function is used. For details, refer to "Setting [DIGITAL ZOOM EXTENDER]" (x page 70).
f When the projector is switched on for the first time after purchase, the [INITIAL SETTING] screen and the [ADMINISTRATOR ACCOUNT] screen
are displayed in order after the projection starts. When the [PROJECTOR SETUP] menu → [INITIALIZE ALL] is executed, the [INITIAL SETTING]
screen is displayed after the projection starts. When the [NETWORK] menu → [INITIALIZE] is executed, the [ADMINISTRATOR ACCOUNT]
screen is displayed after the projection starts next time. For details, refer to "When the initial setting screen is displayed" (x page 43) and
"When the administrator account setting screen is displayed" (x page 45).

Switching off the projector

1) Press the power <v/b> button.
f The [POWER OFF] confirmation screen is displayed.
2) Press qw to select [OK], and press the <ENTER> button.
(Or press the power <v/b> button again.)
