tilting is permitted.
Inverter Spacing
It is important to allow ample spacing for ventilation, wire management, and service. The minimum spacing
requirements are shown in Figure 3-3. Always keep the clearance area free from debris, plants, and other
obstructions.
Improper Installation Will Void Warranty: The requirements defined in this section are the minimum allowable
clearances. In areas that experience deep snows, heavy rain, excessive heat (greater than 45°C), or excessive
vegetation growth, it may be necessary to increase spacing. It is the responsibility of the installer to ensure the
clearance area remains free from debris, plants, and other obstructions at all times. The recommended spacing
below the inverter can be modified according to installation requirements. Install the inverter higher than the
flood line and/or typical snow build-up.
