CONTROLS
Folding down the middle head
restraint
Backward: press the button, arrow 1, and fold
back the head restraint.
Forwards: fold the head restraint forwards as
far as it will go. Ensure that the head restraint
engages correctly.
To adjust the height
The outer head restraints can be adjusted in
height.
Downwards: press the button, arrow 1, and
slide the head restraint downwards.
Upwards: push head restraint upwards.
After setting the height, move the head restraint
up or down slightly, making sure it engages
properly.
Removing
With through-loading system:
The outer head restraints can be removed. Only
remove the head restraint if no-one is intending
to sit on the seat in question.

Fold down the corresponding rear backrest,
see page 283.
2.
Raise the head restraint until resistance is felt.
3.
Press the button, arrow 1, and pull the head
restraint fully out.
Installing
Proceed in the reverse order to install the head
restraint.
Mirrors
Exterior mirrors
General
The mirror setting is saved for the currently used
driver profile. When the vehicle is unlocked using
the remote control, this setting is called up auto‐
matically if the function for this has been activa‐
ted, see page 93.
The current exterior mirror position can be saved
with the memory function, see page 111.
Safety note
WARNING
Objects reflected in the mirror are closer than
they appear. The distance to road users behind
the vehicle could be incorrectly estimated, for
example when changing lane. There is a danger
of accidents. Look over your shoulder to esti‐
mate the distance from following traffic.
