11.10 Mode 11 Data

11.10.1 Modulator to CCB

Mode 11 is dedicated, for the purpose of diagnostics, to provide a means to test device status. It also provides an
indication if the Cell bypass option is available.

11.11 Device Testing

In order to determine operational integrity of the Power cells, the status of each power switching device and bypass
components can be tested via Mode 11. In the case of Perfect Harmony Next Gen Control, cell bypass is not
available, so the bypass tests are not performed. These device tests are controlled by the Harmony microprocessor
and are performed one device at a time (and one cell at a time) where switching and bypass tests are not performed if
any blocking failures are detected.
