Correction of the analog indications (cards)

The correction of the analog indications is required, if:
-- the value of the cards does not correspond to the value on the digital display.
-- the adjustments of the manufacturer are lost.
-- this is only caused by a step fault of the stepping motor and not by an interruption of the
heading transmission or an interruption of the power supply.

Comments, notes

Operate both keys (approx. 15 s)
simultaneously until
indicated in the display,
--
the LED is flashing yellow.
--
release the keys
--
operate left or right key briefly;
the 360° card adjusts to 0°.
--
the 360° card can be fine adjusted
by operating the left
right
key.
During the adjustment the display
shows
.
--
after approx. 5 s the 10° card
adjusts to 0° automatically.
--
the 10° card can be fine adjusted
by operating the left
right
key.
Caution!
By all means adjust the
cards to zero of the display
indication. Otherwise the
analog indication does not
correspondent to the digital
indication.
10 seconds after the last adjustment:
--
The function 'CORRECTION' ends
automatically
--
The current set heading value is
assumed and stored.
When a magnetic compass equipment
is connected, also the tenth--of--degree
indication appears for correction only.
Carry out the correction as described
above.
