Please note
If the frost protection temperature is set to an
outside temperature of less than 1 °C, uninsula-
ted pipes may freeze. There is a particular risk
for outdoor pipes and in standby mode, e.g. dur-
ing holidays.
Provide pipes with thermal insulation and avoid
unsupervised standby mode.

Frost protection activate
A4:0
The frost protection function is ac-
tivated. Start and stop tempera-
tures of the function can be adjus-
ted (code "A3", heating group).
Frost protection function: The heat-
ing circuit pump is switched on at
the relevant outside temperature; a
minimum flow temperature of
10 °C is specified. At the relevant
outside temperature, it is automati-
cally switched off.

Possible change
A2:1
During cylinder heating, the mixer
closes. When the heating circuit is
wired to the boiler control unit, the
heating circuit pump remains switch-
ed on. When using an extension kit
for the heating circuit, the heating
circuit pump is switched off.
A2:2
During cylinder heating, the mixer is
closed and the heating circuit pump
is switched off.
Note
Only possible for heating circuits
that are connected to the boiler con-
trol unit.
A2:3
During cylinder heating, the set flow
temperature is adjusted to the set
value for reduced heating mode and
the heating circuit pump is switched
off.
