Emissions test
Preheat the boiler (at least 2 hours before testing)
and form the firebed. For this, only half fill the hop-
per. Lay the logs close together lengthways. When
doing this, avoid logs with widely differing diameters.
Let the boiler burn in this way until the start of the
emissions test.
Adjust the set boiler water temperature to 85 °C, set
the return temperature to 65 °C and check the chim-
ney draught. The manometric pressure should be
between 10 and 15 Pa and not fluctuate.
Ensure that sufficient heat is drawn off during the
heat-up phase and during testing. The buffer cylinder
must be cold before the test begins. If necessary,
turn up all thermostatic valves as far as they will go.
Checking the draught
1. Measure the manometric pressure in the flue pipe.
For draught, see specification on page 101).
Instructing the system user
Operating and service documents
Hand over all parts lists, operating and service instruc-
tions to the system user.
Instructing the system user
The system installer should hand the operating instruc-
tions to the system user and instruct the user in oper-
ating the system.
This includes all components installed as accessories,
e.g. remote control units. In addition, the system instal-
ler must make the user aware of the required mainte-
nance work.
(cont.)
2. If necessary, adjust the draught limiter.
Commissioning, inspection, maintenance
Set the residual oxygen on the control unit to
between 6 and 7 %.
Distribute embers evenly in the hopper before test-
ing. When doing this, do not compress the firebed.
The firebed should be approx. 10 cm deep. Quickly
lay 50 cm long logs lengthways, close together. The
emissions test can begin 5 minutes after closing the
hopper door.
The boiler water temperature must not exceed 82 °C
during the test (duration: 15 minutes). Closely moni-
tor the temperature display. If it looks likely that this
temperature will be exceeded, ensure that more heat
is drawn off.
