Select [Address setting].
Check the following items.
 Confirm that [Ethernet speed] is set to
[Automatic].
 Confirm that [DHCP] is set to [All
auto]. The IP address will be obtained
automatically with this setting.
Note
You may need to enter the IP address manually,
depending on your Internet service provider. See
"Setting up the IP address/proxy server" (page 82)
for details.

Select [Apply].
The setting is updated.

Select [Close].
The network setting is completed.
To confirm that the unit is connected
to the network
Select [Check connections] in the network setting
display.
Tip
If the unit has difficulty connecting to the broadband
router or a hub, selecting [100Mbps] or [10Mbps] in
step 5 sometimes solves the problem. Furthermore,
confirm the IP address setting (see "Confirming and
changing the network settings" on page 81).
