 AUDIO IN jack
Use to connect the audio output jack of an
external component (page 59).
 PHONES (headphones) jack
Use to connect headphones.
 SERVER indicator
Lights up yellowish green when the unit is
being used as a server and a client device is
playing audio data (page 89).
 TIMER indicator
Indicates the status of the timer (pages 95 to
97).
 HOME button
Use to select a function from the Home menu
(page 19).
Press /// to select a function and
press ENTER to enter the selection. To cancel
the Home menu, press HOME or BACK
before pressing ENTER.
 PARTY button and indicator
 PARTY button
Use to activate or enter PARTY MODE
(page 91).
 PARTY indicator
Lights up amber when PARTY MODE is
active (page 91).
 x-DJ button
Selects and plays the x-DJ channel (page 47).

Use to go back to the previous display (page

 USB port
Use to connect a portable device such as a
USB storage device or the wireless adaptor
(pages 34, 36, 74).
 Menu operation buttons
Use to select menu items and enter menu
settings (page 19).

 ENTER button
Use to enter a setting.
 SETTINGS button
Displays the Settings menu (page 19). Use
to enter clock, network and other system
settings.
 HDD REC button
Use for recording to the HDD Jukebox (page
33).
 TRANSFER button
Use to transfer audio data to a "WALKMAN"
or other portable audio device (page 36).
 OPTIONS button
Displays the Options menu (page 19). Menu
items will vary according to the selected
function.
