Changing the transfer settings

You can change the destination group or folder
and the conversion settings when transferring
Linear PCM audio data.

Display the item (album, playlist,
group, or track) you want to
transfer.

Select [Setting] and change the
setting.
When you transfer audio data to a
"WALKMAN"
When you transfer audio data to a
"WALKMAN" phone or USB storage
device

 Select [Select folder at destination] and
then select the destination folder from
the pull-down menu.
Standard Tracks are saved to

setting "\\Music" folder.*
Root setting Tracks are saved to
the root directory of
the destination.
Select Enter the folder name
when you change the
destination folder.

 When transferring Linear PCM-format
tracks, select [Conversion system] and
then select an item from the pull-down
menu.
Auto The unit selects and

transfers the audio data
with the format that
can be played with the
connected device.
Select Audio data is transferred
format in MP3 format or Linear
PCM format. (You can
select the desired bit rate
in step .)

 If you select [Select format] in step ,
select the desired bit rate from the [Bit
rate] pull-down menu.
