Tracks cannot be combined.
The selected tracks are MP3- or WMA-format
tracks.
You cannot combine tracks if the combined
playing time of both tracks exceeds 120
minutes.
The format of the tracks are different (e.g., one
is a Linear PCM-format track and the other a
ATRAC-format track).
The tracks have different bit rates (e.g., one has
a bit rate of 105 kbps and the other 132 kbps).
After repeated editing (dividing and
combining) of the track(s), the tracks
cannot be combined.
This occurs due to the technical limitation of
the HDD system. It is not a malfunction.
When recording from the radio or DAB,
music and talk contents cannot be
distinguished automatically.
Check whether the "Track mark" setting for
the recording is set to "Auto" (page 30).
A track cannot be divided.
The selected tracks are MP3- or WMA-format
tracks.
You tried to divide a track at its beginning or
end.
A track cannot be divided if after the division
the total number of tracks on the HDD
Jukebox exceeds 40,000 tracks.
The selected listing mode is other than folder
mode.
The unit cannot connect to a shared folder
on a computer.
Enter the computer name, the shared folder
name, and the user name correctly.
Deactivate the security function of the
Windows OS or anti-virus software. Reactivate
the security function after using the shared
folder.
The unit cannot import tracks saved with
the SonicStage software.
The unit cannot import tracks that are
copyright protected. Release the copyright
protection with the format conversion
function in the SonicStage software. For
details, refer to the SonicStage Help. Please
note that copyright-protected tracks
downloaded from the Internet cannot be
imported.

The desired channel does not appear in the
display.
When five tracks have been assembled into a
channel, the channel is displayed.
A track is not in the channel that you
expected.
Since tracks are categorized by 12 Tone
Analysis technology, a particular track may be
placed into a channel that you may not expect
it to be. You cannot erase these tracks, but you
can hide them so that they are invisible (page
50) or you can move them to other channels
(page 49).
