Playing the HDD

The following audio formats can be played back
by this unit.
 MP3 (".mp3")*

Tracks with copyright protection (Digital Rights

Management) cannot be played by this unit.
Tracks downloaded from Internet websites (including
online music stores) may not be played by this unit.

Only audio files can be played by this unit. On this unit,

playback is guaranteed only for audio files created with
the "Media Manager for WALKMAN" software.

The information that is displayed when you press the

DISPLAY button depends on the unit's status. When
the unit is stopped, the free space on the HDD or
clock is displayed. When the unit is playing, ID3 tag
information, clock, etc. are displayed.
Tip
If title information cannot be found or incorrect, use the
"Title Updater" software to add the latest title information
(page 46). You can edit title information as well (the unit
supports alphanumeric character and symbol input) (page
52).
