D Transmitting a Call Alert call

Call Alert call enables you to notify another user who
may be away from their transceiver that you want to
talk.
<Menu operation>
TIP: The Portable type transceiver's operations are
described in red. And the Mobile type transceiver's
operations are described in blue.
LThe common operations are in black.
(MENU > CONTACT > CALL ALERT)
1. Push [Menu] to display the Menu screen.
• "CONTACT" is selected.

[P1](ENT)
or [P2].
• The current call type is briefly displayed, then the
Contact menu screen is displayed.
LTo change the call type, see page 7-3.
3. Push
[P2](Ω) or [P3](≈)
select the destination ID, then push
[P2].
