<Key operation>
Using [Digital Button]:
1. Push [Digital Button] to enter the Application
Selection mode.
• The current call type is briefly displayed, then "VOICE"
is displayed.
LTo change the call type, see page 7-3.
2. Push [CH Up] or [CH Down] to select "STAT POL,"
then push [Digital Button].

• Enters the Destination ID Selection mode.
3. Push [CH Up] or [CH Down] to select the
destination ID.

4. Push [PTT] to transmit a Status Polling call.
• "STAT POL" is displayed while transmitting.
5. When an acknowledgment is received, the target
station's status and ID blink.

L "POL FAIL" is displayed if the target station does not
send back an acknowledgement.

Using [Individual]:
1. Push [Individual] to enter the Application Selection
mode.
• "INDIVIDUAL" is briefly displayed, then "VOICE" is
displayed.
2. Push [CH Up] or [CH Down] to select "STAT POL,"
then push [Individual].
