Configuration of the phone settings

You can configure the phone settings directly on Avaya Conference Phone B199.
Any user can configure the following phone settings of B199 Conference Phone:
• Language
• Ring Level
• Key Tone
• Startup Sound
You cannot directly configure other phone settings, for example Time and Region. You must
contact the administrator to set the required parameter.

About this task
Use this procedure to configure the phone settings on the phone.
Procedure
1. On the phone screen, tap Settings > Phone.
2. Choose the parameter that you want to configure and proceed to the options available.
3. After you made the choices, return to the home screen.
Depending on what parameters you change, the phone restarts the application or reboots.

The following table lists the basic settings of Avaya Conference Phone B199 available on the
phone in Settings > Phone.

Description
To specify the name of the phone, which is visible on the home screen when
the phone is in a stand-by or on-hook mode. The default name is Avaya B199.
Ensure that there is no empty space at the beginning or at the end of the
string. The maximum input length is 28 characters.
