Remove the filter, and allow the hydraulic fluid
to drain

Apply a thin coat of the specified hydraulic fluid
to the gasket of the new hydraulic filter; refer to

gasket contacts the filter head, and tighten the
filter an additional 2/3 to 3/4 turn.

Note:
You must purge air from the hydraulic system
when you remove any hydraulic components,
including oil filter, or disconnect any hydraulic lines.
