Explanation/meaning
of message
Compression paddle hit an
obstacle during
up-movement at start-up.
Compression not possible
The automatic
decompression mode has
been inhibited by the user.
Elevator up-movement is
not possible.
Elevator down-movement is
not possible.
Failure in HV section of
generator.
Failure in tube focus bias
circuits.

Corrective Action
1. Raise paddle to park using
decompression pedal.
2. Then compression is possible.
- If autodecompress mode is
wanted, switch to the opposite
mode by changing the
parameter in the Setup/Medical
menu. Otherwise nothing is
required and this information is
normally displayed.
1.Check if any movement
switches (up/down/rotation/...)
were pressed during power
ON. If yes, release the
necessary switches and restart
the system.
2.Check if obstacle preventing
up-movement.
3.Command down-movement.
4.Command up-movement.
5.If fault continues, note ALL
messages and contact
GEMS Field Service.
