Fault
Meaning
code
307
Possible causes:
H
•
The internal sensor supply is short-
circuited to ground.
•
Impermissibly high electromagnetic
interference is present.
30D
F-source address placed in the electronic
H
coding element and F-destination address
cannot be accessed.
30E
No valid PROFIsafe address is stored in the
H
retentive memory. Possible causes:
•
Initial commissioning
•
Deliberate parameter change of the
PROFIsafe address
•
Deviation between setpoint and actual
configuration of the plant
310
Too many signal changes have occurred
H
within the time configured with the
"Monitoring window" parameter.
•
The "Monitoring window" parameter
setting is too high.
•
The "Number of signal changes"
parameter setting is too low.
•
A momentary interruption/short-
circuit of the sensor cable (loose
contact) is present.
•
Impermissibly high electromagnetic
interference is present.
•
The sensor/switch is bouncing.
•
The sensor is defective.
311
The switching frequency of the sensor is
H
too high.
312
The minimum permissible temperature
H
limit has been violated.
314
The discrepancy time set for 1oo2
H
evaluation was exceeded.
The error message is output for channel
n+4.

H
31C

Remedy
•
Eliminate the overload.
•
Eliminate the short-circuit in the
process wiring.
•
Check the "Sensor supply"
parameter.
•
Eliminate/reduce the
electromagnetic interference.
Check whether the coding element is
available. Replace the coding element,
if necessary.
•
Perform the assignment of the
PROFIsafe address during initial
commissioning or deliberate
parameter changes.
•
Check the consistency between the
setpoint and actual configuration.
•
Check the "Monitoring window"
parameter.
•
Check the "Number of signal
changes" parameter.
•
Check the process wiring.
•
Eliminate/reduce the
electromagnetic interference.
•
Replace the sensor.
Reduce the switching frequency of the
sensor.
Operate the F-module within the
specified temperature range. (See
Technical specifications (Page 65))
