Channel control via fields

It is possible to control the channels via fields. For this, it is necessary to combine the
channels into fields, and to assign setpoints for channels and fields.
Operating modes
The operating mode can be pre-selected via the cyclic data. This makes it possible to
change conveniently between two setpoints.

Combining channels into fields
The user can combine channels into fields, which can then be controlled by means of field
setpoints.
There are two types of field:
● Field type 1: Channel series
This field is described by specifying the numbers of the first and last channels in the field
● Field type 2: Specific field
This field is described by specifying the number of channels and the channel numbers.
Two setpoints can be specified for fields:
● Field setpoint for "Standby" mode
● Field setpoint for "Production" mode
The field setpoints are used as follows in the calculation of the resulting setpoints in
accordance with the set mode:
Resulting setpoint = Field setpoint * channel setpoint/100
Note
Note that channels that you have not assigned to a field remain as standard in a field with
the field number 0 whose field setpoints are fixed at 100%.
