Installing/Removing Joystick Mounting Arm

WARNING
• After ANY adjustments, repair or service and BEFORE use, make sure that all attaching
hardware is tightened securely - otherwise injury or damage may result.
CAUTION
• If the joystick control cable is not plugged into the power module then the wheelchair will not
function correctly.
The Joystick, complete with control arm may be completely removed from the wheelchair by the
following procedure.
Removing all joystick mounting arm types.
1. Locate the Joystick cable connector at the front of the
wheelchair under the seat.
NOTE:
The joystick cable connector is the only grey plug in the
power module. It has a slide lock which must me pulled up
as the connector is lifted out of the power module. The
connector is also polarised which makes it impossible to fit
back in the wrong oreintation.
