Safety Inspection Checklist

Initial adjustments should be made to suit personal body structure/user capability and preference.
Thereafter follow these maintenance procedures:

General
Wheelchair rolls straight
(no excessive drag or pull to one side).
Motor brushes & motor gearbox coupling
Clothing guards
Ensure all fasteners are secure.
Arms
Secure but easy to release;
adjustment handwheels engage properly.
Adjustable height arms operate
and lock securely.
Armrests
Inspect for rips in upholstery.
Arm rest pad sits flush against arm tube.
