Push in on the cage-nut while rotating the cage-nut tool up and pulling the
tool back toward you until the top lip of the cage-nut snaps into position (see
Figure 1-7).

Repeat steps a through c to install the remaining cage-nut.

Installing the PowerVault Storage System in the Rack

CAUTION: If you are installing more than one storage system, install the
first storage system in the lowest possible position in the rack.
CAUTION: When you install DPE storage systems, an SPS tray must be
installed below the DPE in the rack.
WARNING: Due to the size and weight of the storage system, never
attempt to install the storage system by yourself.

Lift the storage system into position in front of the rack and slide the storage
system onto the support rails (see Figure 1-20 or Figure 1-21).

If you are installing a DPE, secure the back of the DPE to the retention brackets on
the support rails, using two M5 Phillips-head pan-head screws (see Figure 1-23).
