Removing Front-Panel Inserts (Desktop Chassis)

CAUTION: Before you perform this procedure, see

Turn off the computer and peripherals, disconnect them from their

electrical outlets, wait at least 5 seconds, and then
computer cover.
Lay the computer cover upside down, with the front panel facing you.

Remove the front-panel insert for the chassis drive bay you want to

use.
Use your thumbs to press the sides of the insert until it snaps free of
the front panel (see the following figure).
