NOTICE:
Before disconnecting a peripheral from the system or removing a
component from the system board, verify that the standby power indicator on
the system board has turned off. To locate this indicator, see
Components" or
"Interior Service
Turn off the computer and peripherals, disconnect them from their

electrical outlets, wait at least 5 seconds, and then
computer

Rotate the power supply

Remove the airflow

Disconnect the fan power cable from its connector on the system

board (FAN). To locate this connector, see
Components" or
"Interior Service
Gently pull the plastic locking tab back, and push the fan downward to

disengage the four anchor tabs holding the fan to the back chassis wall.
