URPOSE
The
smartdefense ai cifs file-sharing patterns
working with CIFS worm patterns in the following ways:
• Adding worm patterns
• Modifying worm patterns
• Deleting worm patterns
• Displaying and exporting worm patterns
• Clearing the CIFS Worm Patterns table
Worm patterns are matched against file names (including file paths but excluding
the disk share name) that the client is trying to read or write from the server. If a
match is detected, SmartDefense takes action according to the file sharing settings
specified in smartdefense ai cifs file-sharing on page 268.
You can reset the CIFS worm patterns to their defaults. See reset smartdefense ai
cifs file-sharing patterns on page 40.
