When you scroll the display using the 'Page Up' or 'Page Down' buttons, the legends on the
selection buttons change to match the display.
X-Y Mode
When the panel is in X-Y mode, a selection button represents a virtual level present on the
alphanumeric display. Pressing one or more selection buttons selects (or deselects) the levels
associated with the buttons. A marker appears in the right-most column of the display for
selected levels.
When all levels are selected, pressing a level button turns them all off except the one
pressed.
If there are more than 8 levels, scrolling is enabled.
Deselecting virtual levels in X-Y mode prepares a breakaway take.
Hold mode preserves the level selection after a take. See Hold.
MD Mode
When the panel is in MD mode, a selection button represents an MD device present on the
alphanumeric display. If there are more devices than selection buttons, scrolling is enabled.
Pressing a selection button selects the device.
Certain MD destinations might be unassigned. They appear blank in the display and the
corresponding buttons are dark.
When your panel is in hold mode, you can select more than one destination at once. If your
panel is not in hold mode, MD destinations are mutually exclusive: you can select only one at a
time.
If you have enabled 'Hold' mode,
1 Select one or more MD devices. Scroll the MD device display as needed.
2 Select a source.
3 Repeat steps 1 and 2 until your presets are complete.
4 Press 'Take' . The selected MD devices remain selected.
If you have not enabled 'Hold' mode,
1 Select an MD device. Scroll the MD device display as needed.
2 Select a source.
3 Repeat steps 1 and 2 until your presets are complete.
4 Press 'Take' . The selected MD devices become unselected.
The configurer can allow you to redefine certain MD destinations. To do so is simple: (1) select an
MD destination on a selection button, (2) choose a destination that is not on a selection button.
You might have to navigate or scroll through a destination list to choose one.

Source

A source button selects a source. (Note that a quick source button selects a source and also
performs an immediate take.)
Quick source and source buttons are similar, except that the quick source performs a take. Be
aware of which buttons are quick sources so you do not perform an accidental take.
