For charging the storage tank via the heat exchanger, the temperature differential
between collector and storage tank / swimming pool must be sufficient , and the
collector must have reached the minimum charging temperature for the storage tank /
swimming pool .

The function periodically activates the collector pump for at least the selected minimum
running time.
When the temperature at the collector sensor rises, the collector pump is activated.

3840 Collector frost protection
When there is risk of frost at the collector, the collector pump will be activated to
prevent the heat-carrying medium from freezing.

If the collector temperature falls below the frost protection temperature, the
collector pump will be activated: TKol < TKolFrost.
·
When the collector temperature returns to a level of 1°K above the frost protection
temperature, the collector pump will be deactivated again: TKol > TKolFrost + 1.
