rider + passenger (or rider +
luggage)
Rear shock absorber adjustment:
rider + passenger + luggage
- the spring preloading knob (2) in
the STD position + 28 clicks (6
notches on the graduated scale)
- the rebound adjustment screw (1)
in the STD position + 3 clicks
- the spring preloading knob (2) in
the STD position + 38 clicks (7 1/2
notches on the graduated scale)
- the rebound adjustment screw (1)
in the STD position + 6 clicks

Front fork adjustment (03_05)

CAUTION
THIS FORK CANNOT BE ADJUSTED.

Operating the front brake lever, press the handlebar repeatedly to send the
fork fully down. The stroke should be soft and there should be no oil marks
on the stems.
•
Check the tightening of all the elements and the correct operation of the front
and rear suspension joints.
