Given this, and for some kinds of problems, the engine can be started only if the side
stand is up.
If there is an immobilizer failure at ignition, the instrument panel requests you to enter
a user code. If the code is entered correctly, the instrument panel signals the failure
by displaying the SERVICE icon and the red general warning light comes on.

Air temperature sensor failure
In case of air temperature sensor failure, the instrument panel signals the problem by
displaying the "--" symbol steadily at the position where the temperature value is gen-
erally displayed. In this case the red general warning light does not turn on.
Oil failure
In case of failing oil pressure or oil pressure sensor failure, the bulb and the red general
warning light turn on the instrument panel.
