EAR SHOCK ABSORBER ADJUSTMENT TABLE
Rear shock absorber adjustment:
rider only
IF NECESSARY, TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO AN Official aprilia Dealer. TRY RID-
ING THE VEHICLE ON THE STREET UNTIL THE OPTIMUM ADJUSTMENT IS
OBTAINED.
The standard rear shock absorber setting is adjusted to suit most riding conditions.
The manufacturer has set the standard suspension adjustment for a rider weighing
about 70 kg (154.3 pounds).
For other weights, as in the case of riding with a passenger or fully laden, contact an
Official aprilia Dealer.
According to the vehicle use conditions, the hydraulic rebound damping of the shock
absorber can be adjusted by acting on screw (1). Strictly observe the adjustment pro-
cedure described below:
Uneven or bumpy roads - HARD adjustment:

Turn the screw (1) rightwards (clockwise).
Normal or regular roads - SOFT adjustment:
Turn the screw (1) leftwards (anticlockwise).
use the adjustment knob (2) to adjust the spring (3) preload; for the adjustment, follow
the procedure described in the rear shock absorber adjustment table.
