Messages on the Voice Terminal or the Attached Data
Terminal Displays
This section describes various messages that may appear on your 7506 or 7507 display or your
attached data terminal.
CONTINUE may appear when dialing a call or a particular feature access code. At this
point, additional digits may be required to complete the call. For further
information, call your system administrator.
DENIED, DTR is displayed if you try to initiate a data call via the
IS OFF DTR indication is off. See the DTR section in Chapter 4, Data Options
and Profiles, for more information.
DIAL is displayed when call origination is performed via the
LINK DOWN is displayed when you try to initiate a data call when a signaling link
cannot be established to the network. For more information, see your
system administrator.
INCOMING is displayed if you have an incoming call. In CMD Local Mode, this
DATA CALL message and possibly additional information about the incoming call will
be displayed prior to a CONNECT message. For example, an incoming
internal automatically answered circuit switched data call from telephone
number 908-555-1212 on July 11 at 10:41am may appear as follows on the
display of your data terminal.
