The Intel
Server System R1000EP provides locations and hardware for installing hard drives, CD-
ROM drive, or DVD-ROM drive. The following figure shows the available options.

Server System R1000EP ships with either 3.5-inch or 2.5 inch hard disk dirve carrier,
and with different maximum number of hard disk drives, see Table 4 for details :

Note: Drives can consume up to 17 watts of power each. Drives must be specified to run at a maximum
