Accessing the Displays
The user interface is provided by the display softkeys and the front panel keys.
The softkeys provide access to seven different instrument setup areas:
Allows control of the main Transmit and Receive settings.
TX/RX Setup
Allows control of the test features: Errors & Alarms,
Test Setup
Frequency Offset, Channel Associated Signaling Setup, VF
Tone Transmission, DTMF Dialling, Frame Control and
Spare Bit Setup.
Allows control of the Test timing and displays the selected
Results
measurement results.
Allows control of Jitter measurements and displays received
Signal Quality
frequency offset, level, pulse mask and jitter results.
Displays the stored graphical results.
Graphs
Allows control of logging results to the external printer.
Log/Print
Allows control of Time & Date, Talk/Listen, Calibration, Self
Other
Test, Instrument Settings, Beep on Error, Beep on Alarm,
Backlight Mode, Display Contrast, Language and Battery
Life. A list of the Options fitted can also displayed.
To move within the display areas use the cursor control keys
To return quickly to the top of the display, press
