Removal Procedure
1 Drain differential oil. [Point
2 Jack up the vehicle and remove front wheel
Remove the front axle shaft. [Point

Remove the axle shaft oil seal. [Point

5 Remove the bearing lock nut and plate. [Point
Remove the outer bearing roller and front axle hub. [Point
6
7 Remove the oil seal and inner bearing roller. [Point 61
Remove the bearing outer race. [Point
8
9 Remove the hub bolt.
Installation Procedure
The installation procedure is the reverse of the removal procedure.
Note:
Apply thread tightener (08833-00070) on the hub bolt set nut before tightening.

Installation:
Fill Hypoid gear oil to the specified level after installation.
A 15 mm (0.59 in) or less

Carefully operate so as not to damage the oil seal by con-
tact with the axle shaft.
