6.Cooling System UXV 500i/700i
Pressure Testing
SAFETY FIRST: Antifreeze is highly toxic and can kill pets and animals if drank. Do
not leave coolant where animals (including children) can get to it.
SAFETY FIRST: Protective gloves and eyewear are recommended at this point.
Lift the hood. See the Hood topic for more information.
Remove the radiator cap by pushing down and turning it. Remove the radiator cap in two
stages. Allow any built up pressure to vent and then open the cap all the way and remove it.
