8.Final Drive UXV 500i/700i
Install the two gear case mounting bolts and nuts. Hold the bolts with a 14 mm wrench and
tighten the nuts to specification with a 17 mm socket.

Install a new circlip. Grease the left drive shaft splines. Install the left rear drive shaft into
the gear case horizontally.
Note: Be careful not to damage the oil seal in the front gear case. After installing check the
circlip is seated properly by pulling the case side joint lightly.
