INTRODUCTION
ENGINE SERIAL NUMBER

The engine serial number is located on the identification label on the engine
recoil cover.
KEY IDENTIFICATION
The ignition keys are etched with an
identification number. Remove the
spare key and store it in a safe place.
Your key can be duplicated only by
mating a POLARIS key blank using the
same identification number with one of
your existing keys, so if both keys are
lost, the ignition switch assembly must
be replaced.
