Chapter 1 Getting To Know Your ZyXEL Device
COLOR STATUS DESCRIPTION
Green On The ZyXEL Device is receiving power and functioning properly.
Blinking The ZyXEL Device is rebooting.
Off The ZyXEL Device is not ready or has malfunctioned.
Red On The power to the ZyXEL Device is too low.
Green On The ZyXEL Device has a successful 10/100 Mbps Ethernet
connection.
Blinking The ZyXEL Device is receiving or sending data.
Off The LAN is not connected.
Green On The ZyXEL Device is linked successfully to a DSLAM.
Blinking The ZyXEL Device is initializing the DSL line.
(Slow)
Blinking The ZyXEL Device is sending or receiving traffic.
(Fast)
Off The DSL link is down.
Green On The ZyXEL Device has a PPP (PPPoA or PPPoE) connection.
Blinking The ZyXEL Device is sending or receiving PPPoA or PPPoE
traffic.
Off The ZyXEL Device does not have a PPP (PPPoA or PPPoE)
connection.
