Band selector buttons
R a d io O N
Press a band selector button ( AM or
FM1/2) to turn the radio on.
B a n d selection
C hoose A M by pressing the A M button
( AM ) and FM by pressing the FM 1/2
button (FM1/2).
T he selected m ode w ill be indicated. If
FM stereo is being received, "S T " w ill be
displayed.
N O TE
If the FM broadcast signal becom es
w eak, reception autom atically changes
from ST R O to M O N O for reduced
e e
noise, and the "S T " indicator w ill go
out.

T u n in g
The radio has the follow ing tuning
m ethods: M anual, Seek, Scan, Preset
channel, and A uto m em ory tuning. The
easiest w ay to tune stations is to set them
on preset channels.
I f the pow er supply is interrupted (fuse
blow s or the battery is disconnected),
the preset channels w ill be canceled.

Turning the m anual tuning knob w ill
change the frequency higher or lower.
