Backing Up XSA Data and Settings and Cloning to Another Device

The Cloning feature enables you to copy/backup settings, including Xerox Standard Accounting (XSA)
settings and account information, to a file on your computer or Server. Cloning will create a .dat file
that can be used to restore the data and settings on the same machine or to clone the settings to other
machines. Both the source and target machines must have the same version of software for the .dat
file to be accepted. The software version is located on the Properties tab, under General Setup.
Settings available for cloning are:
Connectivity settings
E-Mail settings
Internet Fax settings
Job Management settings
Authentication settings
Fax settings
Network Scanning Settings
Network Scanning Templates
Audit Log settings
