Preparation of the machine

The preparation of the machine and the install-
ation operations must be carried out by qualified
personnel only.
The installer must strictly follow the indications
provided in chapter 5 "Warnings for the Installer".

Filling the water tank

• Turn the key and open the door (A);
• fill the tank (B) with cold drinkable water;
• close the door and

6.2

Tank filter

If the water hardness
is more than 5°f , a BRITA
filter (supplied by de-

on the tank. Not only
does this filter reduce
limescale build-up, but
it also eliminates any
impurities and other substances such as chlorine
in the water.
Install the filter at the bottom of the tank accord-
ing to the manufacturer's instructions.
It is recommended to change the filter regularly,
!
depending on water consumption as per
machine warning, and no later than four months
since last replacement.
Refer to chapter 11 for warning and filter
replacement.
!
It is recommended that you use potable water
and avoid using other liquids.
!
Using the machine without all the installation
operations having been carried out by technical
personnel could damage it seriously.
!
The machine must be placed in a perfectly
horizontal position.
