Use the following tools:

4.2.18.1 Assembling the Encoder Wheel
1. Set the mounting plate on AS tool 1051765 as shown in
Figure 4-71.
2. Peel the protection tape off the mounting plate and place it with
the adhesive side facing upward on AS tool 1051765.

3. Position the encoder wheel over the mounting plate with the
printed side facing down, as shown in Figure 4-73. (The encoder
wheel and mounting plate are slightly different sizes.)

4. Carefully press the encoder wheel onto the mounting plate to
secure it. The mounting plate and the encoder wheel don't have to
be perfectly aligned.
C A U T I O N
Do not touch the inside of the encoder wheel shaft hole or
the side of the wheel with characters printed on it.
5. Peel the protection tape off the double-sided adhesive tape and
attach it inside the printed circle on the encoder wheel, as shown
in Figure 4-74. (The printed circle on the wheel and the adhesive
tape are slightly different sizes; they don't have to be perfectly
aligned.)
